Our Identity & Mission
At the Academy of Las Animas Online (ALAO), we recognize that the traditional classroom isn't the right fit for every student. We are a Colorado tuition free public online school serving grades 6-12 and young adults up to age 21. We specializes in providing a "soft landing" and a clear path forward for students who need something different.

While our curriculum is online, our presence is local. We operate three physical Drop-In Zones in Las Animas, Greeley, and Pueblo, Colorado where students can find:
