What are the remote work expectations?
Academy of Las Animas Online is a 100% virtual instructional environment. While teachers work remotely, all educators must reside within the state of Colorado and may be asked to attend occasional in-person sessions for state testing or regional district meetings.
What are the licensure requirements?
All ALAO teachers must hold a valid Colorado Department of Education license with the appropriate endorsement for their subject area and grade level.
Are part-time roles available?
Yes. We offer both full-time and part-time adjunct positions based on student enrollment and program needs.
What can I expect regarding payroll?
ALAO educators are district employees. Payroll follows the standard district schedules and pay scales, with monthly pay frequencies and available benefits packages for eligible positions.
